Andrew Hardingham

Andrew enjoys the art of creating illusion. He has manufactured special effects props and special electronic circuitry for theatre, television and film.

He began working in the theatre as a lighting and sound technician, and went on to design and supply lighting, audio and AV for events. At university he studied the design principles of lighting and audio in more detail, and also studied costume, set and props design.

Andrew also studied broadcast technology and video editing, and was trained by the Sydney Olympic Broadcasting Organisation as a Camera Control Unit (CCU) operator and broadcast technician for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. He has a very good knowledge of communications and IT network systems.

Andrew is skilled in electronic circuitry design and manufacture.

Andrew has worked at Fox Studios for over five years, and has been involved in electronics, modelmaking and patternmaking for films such as Star Wars III, Matrix II & III, Superman Returns, Moulin Rouge, Stealth and Mission: Impossible II.
